Registration is open for doctors who want their own clinic. It is also open to investors who want a rental opportunity.

What Is Sky Medical Center 2?
Sky Medical Center 2 is the planned second medical centre led by Dr Javaid Iqbal. It will sit inside Canton Sky Tower, a new OZ Developers project. Dr Javaid said the decision is final: the centre will be built in the tower. However, he said the team is still discussing its exact form in an internal meeting.
How the First Sky Medical Center Led to the Second
The first Sky Medical Center by Dr Javaid Iqbal is in the Sky buildings in Bahria Orchard. Dr Javaid explained that Bahria’s rules did not allow a hospital building inside the community. So the plan there was outpatient (OPD) clinics, with doctors from every speciality under one roof. Patients who need a hospital would still use Bahria Hospital.
The clinics booked out quickly. Dr Javaid said renovation work is now starting at the first centre. In addition, hiring of administrative staff began on the day of the interview. Also, many people wanted a unit but could not get one, because the capacity was small. Sky Medical Center 2 gives them another chance. Why Canton Sky Tower?
Dr Javaid said Canton Sky Tower is four to five kilometres from the first centre. He added that it is perhaps a better location. He also said Bahria’s by-laws do not apply there. As a result, the team has more room to plan a bigger centre.
Canton Sky Tower stands on Main Raiwind Road, close to Adda Plot and the Thokar Niaz Baig interchange. It also has direct access to the Lahore Ring Road network. OZ Developers launched it on 6 August 2026 with wholesale floors linked to the Huashu China Town trade network, a food court and apartments. In practice, a medical centre in that mix shares its address with traders, diners and residents. For clinics, that can mean steady daily visitors, although real patient numbers will depend on how the centre runs.

Will Sky Medical Center 2 Be Only an OPD?
Not necessarily. Instead, Dr Javaid said the team is thinking beyond an OPD, possibly toward a larger, full-fledged facility, because the rules at Canton Sky Tower differ from Bahria’s. He said the team will decide this in its internal meeting. So treat the exact format as open until Dr Javaid confirms it.
Who Can Take a Unit in Sky Medical Center 2?
Doctors who want their own clinic
Any doctor who wants to start a clinic can register, as long as they hold PMDC registration. Also, Dr Javaid said every PMDC-registered practice will be allowed. PMDC is the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council, the body that registers doctors. Check that your registration is current before you apply.
Investors and doctors who do not want to practise
Dr Javaid called the project a very good rental opportunity for people who are not doctors, and for doctors who do not want to practise. He said Waqas Naseer can explain the model better. However, CDB has not published the rental model or any rental figures yet. So do not rely on return numbers you see elsewhere. What to Ask Before You Register
Registration is open, but the key details are still to come. These questions help you decide with clear information:
- Which floor will the medical centre occupy, and what are the unit sizes?
- What is the price per sq ft, and is it charged on gross or net area?
- What is the payment plan for medical units? Ask for it in writing.
- Doctors: is your PMDC registration current, and which licences does your clinic need? Clinics in Punjab generally need a licence from the Punjab Healthcare Commission, so ask what the building can support.
- Investors: how does the rental model work, who rents the units and who manages them? Ask for the terms in writing, and do not assume any return.
- What are the approvals and the expected timeline for the medical floor?
